Currently, ManTech is seeking a highly motivated, career and customer-oriented Executive Director of Contracts leading ManTech''s Intelligence Sector contracts team. The position will report to the VP of Contracts for ManTech, and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Supervises contracts team of approximately 15 personnel providing oversight of all contract activities for ManTech''s Intelligence Sector* Oversight of contracts administrators and managers in all aspects of life cycle contract management - proposal, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.* Reviews, and approves, in accordance with corporate authorities/delegation, all contractual obligations to ensure successful contract performance* Providing counsel and strategic advice to the Intelligence Sector Program Managers (PMs), Division Managers (DMs), and the General Manager (GM) and supporting internal business functions to help grow the business and mitigate contractual risk. Serves as the primary executive contracts advisor to the Intelligence Sector GM and the GM''s leadership team.* Leading special projects to address ManTech Contract policy, process, or system enhancements* Tracking and reporting on Sector contract performance metrics* Mentoring contract administrators and managers on internal and external customer engagement* Collaborating with PMs and DMs to identify any potential contractual performance risks and mentoring contracts administrators and managers on strategies to resolve the concern with the customer Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor''s degree* Excellent understand of federal acquisition regulation (FAR)* Ability to communicate effectively with external government customers and internal executive leadership* Attention to detail with the ability to work at the speed of business while managing multiple projects* Extensive experience with proposal preparation and development and ability to collaborate with capture teams to advise on solicitation requirements and strategies for enhancing proposals/offerings* Strong interpersonal, coaching/mentoring skills, with preferably at least 6-years'' experience managing a team of contracts professionals* 10-15 years of progressive professional contracts management experience* Strong understanding of federal organizational conflict of interest (OCI) regulations and ability to advise the business on risks, mitigation techniques, and compliance obligations Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with the Intelligence Community and/or DoD intelligence agencies* Preferred work location is ManTech''s headquarters in Herndon VA. Security Clearance Requirements: * TS WITH SCI ELIGIBILITY Physical Requirements: * Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time* Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer* The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations* The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
