Project Manager

Trillium Construction is currently looking for a Project Manager who has working experience and knowledge in the Access Control and CCTV field. The Security Estimator - Project Manger spends their days working with Sales and Design Departments designing Commercial Electronic Security Systems and other low voltage systems. The primary function of this position is to engineer and design electronic security systems to meet functionality and performance requirements, and ultimately to bring the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives while meeting often challenging deadlines. Candidates must meet the following requirements: • Create and depict these systems accurately in CAD format. • Design complete and accurate security systems while adhering to classic project constraints. • Great organizational skills • Perform site surveys, walk projects with customers. • Must be able to read requests for proposals, and floor plans and provide proposals accordingly. • Research product specifications. • Must be able to provide space and pathway designs. • Must be able to build a bill of materials from plans and RFP''s • Create engineered drawing packages for Customers. • Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. • Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. • Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. • Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. • Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data. • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. QualificationsQualifications: • Must have a high level of knowledge and hands on experience with design and installation of Commercial Security systems • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Highly proficient in PC skills and the Microsoft Suite. • 2 to 5 years in Security Industry required, either in a sales, project management, design or technician role. • 2 - 3 Years of Estimation Experience • A highly organized individual with excellent verbal and written communications skills and diligent follow up. • Ability to interact with employees within the organization, including senior management and to respond effectively to the needs of all team members. • Professional demeanor with a focus on customer service is always required. • Proficiency with Microsoft programs Word and Excel required. • Ability to prioritize and multi-task. • Must be able to work from 8am-5pm. • Overtime as needed. • Microsoft, AutoCAD and General Computer Skills • Valid drivers'' license • Ability to work a full-time schedule. • Available for local travel • Knowledge of D-Tools is a plus Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
