Type of products: Centrifugal castings Overview: Plant Manager position will be knowledgeable and skilled in the areas Melting, Tube Production and Maintenance of plant equipment . You will be responsible for the production of parts getting through the plant in the scheduled time to make sure your sister plant has components to make the final product. Having good time management is essential to this position. Your daily communication with leadership is critical to synchronizing the parts flow from one plant to the other. Their production depends on your plants production. Qualifications: You must possess previous centrifugal foundry experience. Capable of maintaining the efficiency of production in the foundry at an acceptable level through communication with leadership. Proficiency in basic shop math, calculator, and computer skills. Proficiency in reading tape measures, calipers, and other measurement tools as needed. Capable of maintaining successful communications with others, such as, production employees, Supervisors etc. Adaptable to environmental and safety requirements, able to wear all required safety equipment. Essential Functions: Must have good communication with leadership Possess the physical ability and manual dexterity to perform various job functions related to the foundry operation, with ability to perform occasional heavy lifting up to 50 pounds Melting Responsibilities - Accurately record shift information on daily production report, job cards and job history log and record heat numbers in furnace log. Tube Production - Process all daily production paperwork accurately, including all lot information. Set up production for following day. Die Operation - Reduce down time of the spinners by ensuring the preventive maintenance program is followed. Note: Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, and holidays
