Company DescriptionPosition Overview:The Store Manager will be responsible for all functions of a Canada Goose retail location, including the quantitative and qualitative Key Performance Indicators (KPI''s) of the store. They will lead the store management team directly and be accountable for the store''s performance in the following areas- Financial Performance, People Management & Engagement, Customer Experience and Operational Excellence. They will ensure that the Aspen location achieves it''s financial targets and maintains an experience that allows customers to continuously conquer the outdoors. Finally, they will lead and mentor their team to ensure they maintain Canada Goose''s expectations of quality and authenticity.What you will do in this role:Store Financial Performance:Achieve or exceed sales targets including both the top and bottom line resultsAnalyze performance metrics on an ongoing basis and leverage this information to maximize revenue and optimize costs for Canada GooseAnalyze and react to the needs of the business, identify top sellers, slow sellers and fulfillment of merchandising strategyCustomer Experience:Ensure an outstanding customer experience and drive our Net Promoter Score (NPS)Elevate the customer experience and drive respective location''s Units per Transaction (UPT) by actively introducing new, underperforming and strategic categoriesResolve customer issues by investigating opportunities, developing solutions, preparing reports and coaching staff on managing similar challenges in the futurePeople Management & Engagement:Train and educate the store team on Standard Operating Procedures and the potential impact on the businessMotivate Brand Ambassadors to create brand loyalty and inspire a positive store environment while driving employee engagementCoach and mentor team members to improve performance while developing future leaders and identifying external talentOperational Excellence:Analyze and proactively react to inventory planning and maintain proper inventory metrics such as stock-ins, turnover, and flowMaintain loss prevention procedures that minimize unnecessary loss and increase security at store locationsManage payroll budgets to maximize productivity and enhance customer experience measured by Sales per hour (SPH)Perform store opening and closing procedures in alignment with company standardsRegularly review Canada Goose''s communication tools to ensure applicable messages are shared with the team and acted on in a timely mannerWhat we are looking for from you:Minimum 3- 5 years of store management experiencePrevious experience working with affluent and luxury in a high volume traffic locationExperience in maintaining operational excellence in retail stores (shrink management, inventory management, etc.)Experience with opening new storesKnowledge of store profit and loss (P&L), payroll and expense managementStrong leadership skills with the ability to recruit and retain talent at both Management and Associate levelStrong grasp of presenting to groups and managing product knowledge (PK) sessionsSolid understanding of retail math/ metrics and using analytics in a business environmentOperations expert with the ability to drive performance through internal KPI''sHigh attention to detailAbility to stand for long periods of time and flexible to work retail hours including standard, peak, weekends and holidayStrong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentStrong negotiation skills combined with an adaptable approach to sellingAbility to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partnersStrong employee development skills with the ability to leverage impactful performance management plansExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a teamConsistently exhibits Canada Goose''s Values while taking pride in being innovative, authentic, passionate, relentless, and entrepreneurialAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and ExcelBonus points for proficiency in another languageSalary Range:$90000- 110000 / year USDAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
