Computer Support Technician- PC Technician Excentium, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran owned small business that provides Cyber Security Engineering, Information Assurance (IA), management, Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and other IT services to government and commercial organizations.We have an opportunity for a Computer Support Technician supporting one of our Federal customers in National Capital Region. MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: SecretCITIZENSHIP: US CitizenshipLOCATION: National Capital Region Responsibilities:The Personal Computer support Technician provides support to distributed PC/networking environment including installation, configure, testing, repair, and troubleshooting for stand-alone PCs, PCs linked to networks, printers, and other computer peripherals. Primary duty is the support for PC Imaging, Life Cycle Management PC Refresh effort. Support includes imaging of systems with Agency standard image, loading customer specific software, adherence to the standard Unified Installation Process, and basic record keeping. Provide services such as installation, maintenance and support related to internal and external users. It is important to have strong computer knowledge as that will ease out the work responsibilities. Additional support responsibilities include software installation, and configurations. PC technician may be required to perform technical, operational, and training support to users of personal computers either by telephone, or on-site for PC desktop hardware and software packages. Job duties require the technician to install and test personal computers, printers, and other peripherals, configure operating system, load shrink-wrap programs and other application software programs.
