GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Quality Manager. Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX. When we contribute to the company''s success, we all win.Key AccountabilitiesProvides technical expertise and consultation to management to promote and implement safety-related training programs that drive sustainable, proactive safety conscience behaviors.Ensures that loss prevention programs are in place to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local safety regulations that govern the solid waste industry.Assesses loss control program activities efforts to communicate, train and develop critical skills.Monitors implementation of safety and loss prevention programs; takes action to redirect activity where performance falls short of targets.Ensures continued compliance with applicable OSHA safety regulations are maintained.Provides technical expertise and acts as a resource in the preparation of training materials.Supports monthly employee safety meetings by ensuring that leadership promotes and consistently relays the organization''s values and beliefs regarding a safe working environment.Participates in investigation of serious accidents / injuries and monitors supervisor investigations of all minor accidents and injuries.Provides leadership with timely accident / injury trending and other compliance reports. Interprets data and makes recommendations where appropriate to address negative trends.Qualifications, Experience, Skills/KnowledgeBachelor''s degree in Occupational Safety or a related field or a combination of education and experienceCertified Safety Professional (CSP) highly preferred5 - 8 years of experience hands on environmental and safety experience in a manufacturing operationIntermediate to Advanced computer skills (MS Office - Excel, Outlook, MS Word)Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlinesKnowledge of OSHA and other applicable health and safety standardsGood organizational, problem solving, analytical, communication, customer service, written & interpersonal skillsAbility to interface with personnel across all levels of the business Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
