Quality Specialist Job Category: Engineering and Technical Support Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Public Trust Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented Quality Specialist with Agile methodology experience to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative II (ITI2) team in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a member of the ITI2 Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation''s safety, security, and prosperity. CBP Officers and Border Patrol agents are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity. As a member of the Agile PMO, you will play a critical role in planning, monitoring , and controlling all management and technical activities to deliver the overall program and individual projects on schedule, on budget and with the highest quality. The Quality Specialist will support the Quality and Pe r formance Manager in p erform ing independent audits of ITI2 products, services, and deliverables . What you''ll get to do : Serve as a Quality Specialist responsible for all activities associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software projects responsibilities include: * Ensure ISO/IEC 20000 S ervice M anagement S ystem (SMS) quality assurance and execution * Manage the yearly ISO/IEC 20000 inspection * Perform independent audits of ITI2 products, services, and deliverables * Review deliverables for accuracy, clarity, and conciseness , ensuring product quality and timeliness of efforts * C onduct and/or participate in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle and develop and evaluate quality processes and system standards * Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures * Assist in the evaluation of new hardware, software, and associated documentation * Track and m aintain metrics that assist the team in understanding performance * Support recurring retrospectives and f oster a continuous process improvement mindset among the team * Support long-and short-range planning * Ensure team adheres to QCP processes and procedures You have : * Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include s , but not limited to : * 3-year check for felony convictions * 1-year check for illegal drug use * 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud * College degree (B.S.; M.S., PhD.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems , or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience) * 5 + years of related professional technical experience * ITIL v 4 Foundation certification You are good at: * Experience with ISO 20000 standards * Experience in internal and external audits * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software * Experience participatin g in a high performing, highly engaged and motivated team * Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle * Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter Bonus would be having : * Experience with IV&V and Quality Assurance * Solid experience in incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach What We Can Offer You: - We''ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post. - Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives. - We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities. - We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation''s highest priorities. - For over 55 years, the principles of CACI''s unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.
