Responsibilities This position presents a unique opportunity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with our customers and collaborate with teams where you will provide programmatic strategy and technical guidance to the customer on their most challenging projects by utilizing structured problem-solving methods to solve some of their toughest problems. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator both written and verbally, and will lead multi-discipline, complex project initiatives to improve system engineering processes. The ideal candidate will be experienced leading improvement projects and facilitating teams with the demonstrated ability to implement resulting improvement plans. Duties will include: * Support teams developing digital engineering processes, systems engineering, methodologies, change control and configuration management, and enterprise schedules. * Identifying strategic approaches to solving problems across cross-functional teams utilizing proven methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and Design Thinking. * Identifying organizational/operational value streams and targeting the highest impact areas for improvement. * Identifying and collecting metrics to monitor success of implemented improvements. * Participates in shaping and acquiring follow-on business associated with areas of responsibility and supports new business development personally, or through subordinate direct reports. Qualifications * Requires 12 to 14 years of experience with a High School Diploma, 10 to 12 years of experience with an Associates Degree, 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD. * Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and be able to successfully crossover with the supported customer. * Demonstrated program and personnel management experience with excellent problem-solving abilities. * Strong business acumen: ability to relate professionally inside the work environment. Highly Desired: * Experience with systems engineering processes in support of system life cycle development. * Basic knowledge of architecture, requirements engineering, CONOPS development, verification, test, and system integration to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering. * Knowledge of MBSE implementation ranging from conceptual to physical implementations; including Data Modeling, Data Ingest, and model query. * Demonstrated communication skills especially with tools developers and senior government officials. * Commitment to recognize, understand, respect, and operate effectively within various SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority. * Proven adaptability and experience with daily interaction on-site with the government customers.
