Perform a variety of case management and individual/group counseling duties, including gathering, analyzing and evaluating data and formulating, implementing treatment/case plans for acute complex problem situations. Take initiative to reach out and engage people with problems to facilitate usage of this Agency and other agencies and community services. Primarily provide direct therapeutic services in-home and/or Agency setting. Meet and recommend diagnoses to Licensed Clinical Supervisor and/or Counseling Program Director on regular basis. May work with community groups around unmet and special needs, and may carry a special community assignment relevant to Agency programming. Participate in court-related issues for the caseload. Work a variable work schedule.The position requires the following:Requires a master degree in a human service field from an accredited university. Prior experience in family, couple, and individual counseling is desirable.Must be licensed as a LCPC or LCSW.Possess knowledge of DCFS Policy and Procedure, and Medicaid Rule 132 documentation and billing procedures.Has a valid State Driver''s License (in good standing) and appropriate vehicle insurance.Current physical and TB (PPD) test.Ability to be sensitive and understanding of minorities'' cultural and lifestyle differences.Has working knowledge of family systems, and coordination of care skills.
