Description Specific Responsibilities Essential FunctionsMust be able to manage requirements, contracts, operations, and personnel - all in the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology (IT) field Oversee administrative duties involving contract personnel Provide programmatic and technical support Responsible for contract performance management, cost, and scheduling Develop project estimates, work plans, schedules Provide weekly updates and monthly status reports ensuring adherence to contract requirements and timelines Track projects, scopes, timelines, deliverables Attend government meetings and possibly provide presentations Interface with client management Ensure conformance to task specifications and contract provisions Manage contract personnel (hiring, retention strategies, disciplinary actions, etc.) Qualifications Required Certifications: Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. Required Education:Bachelor''s Degree is required. Required Experience/Skills: 5-8 years Department of Defense (DoD) and Program Management experience is required Preferred Certifications:Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification is preferred Preferred Education:Master''s degree is preferred Preferred Experience:N/A Supervisory Responsibilities:None Work Environment:Professional Office Environment; must be able to sit at a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time.
