The Tooling Design Engineer is responsible for the design, optimization, detailing, and manufacturing of new die forming/roll forming tools, machining/work holding fixtures, and other tooling CAD tools. This position is also responsible for design/print modifications to existing tooling.REQUIRED:Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering (i.e. Mechanical, chemical, industrial) or similar degree with engineering related coursework3 years'' experience in Tooling Design in a Manufacturing Environment3 years'' experience in Solidworks or Similar softwareExperience with drawings, sketches and or scanned images, customer drawings, and or specificationsExperience in die forming process & machining processesProficiency in 3D CAD or design software (Solidworks, AutoCAD)PREFERRED:3 years'' experience in Die Form Tooling Design/Roll Form Tooling Design/Precision Sheet Metal FormingWHO ARE WE?Saint-Gobain''s innovations touch almost every major industry around the world, Composite Systems is comprised of three business units including Films & Fabrics, Tape Solutions and Thin Films.
