Litho Pressman FULL-TIME Under general supervision, sets up, adjusts, and operates lithographic press. Operates in compliance with knowledge of lithography and troubleshooting for ink/water balance, emulsification, gray balance/color theory, and trapping. Sets up and safely operates multi-color press, complying with customer specifications, while maintaining the high level of quality expected for the pharmaceutical industry. Job Duties/Responsibilities (The "What"): Able to hold safety in high regard with all tasks performedComplies with all company specific SOPs, work instructions, control riders, and job instructions for all production orders.Achieves make-ready and run time per estimated rates.Make ready job to designated color control (i.e. Pantone Book, Spectrophotometer, color standard, or customer sample) and monitors color consistency throughout pletes routine press checks for registration, color consistency, and defects throughout production runs. Reacts quickly to quality issues during production activities.Performs operator-level maintenance duties on all equipment (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) and maintains documentation of maintenance.Takes ownership of the press to gather necessary components for make ready and assigns wash up tasks in efficient manner.Provides consistent up to date information to the production lead and management pertaining to critical jobs and areas of interest.Performs other related duties as required.
