Visual Information Specialist with Security Clearance

Job Description As a Visual Information Specialist, you will design, produce, and finish static visual presentation products. Visual Information Specialists apply broad knowledge of design principles to communicate concepts or ideas visually. They use visual communication software to generate hardcopy, softcopy, and web products, to include geospatial information products, publications, brochures, and web pages. They also troubleshoot production issues, share expertise, and assist with performing peer reviews.* Assist in the development and implementation of a basic visualization guidance for analysts.* Assist in the development of content, materials, and delivery methods of ATP to further analytic tradecraft and technical expertise.* Create a proposed schedule for management to consider, prepare implementation material, prepare and conduct pilot running(s), gather feedback from pilot running(s).* Ensure integration with all parts of the office to ensure a common understanding, changes in Visual Toolkit standards are captured, and overall unity of effort.A3922_GEO_SPI Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency on PC platforms.* Working expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite.* Working familiarity with electronic publishing and structured authoring software (SGML, HTML, and XML languages).* Demonstrated expertise using the following applications: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat.* Demonstrated aptitude in working with current, industry-standard electronic publishing computer systems, applications and databases.* Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.* Working knowledge of Worldwide Web and multimedia technologies.* Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community, specifically imagery collection and exploitation.A3922_GEO_SPI Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Experience in course content design and/or course instruction.* At least two years of graphic design experience* An undergraduate or graduate degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Arts, Computer Graphics, or any Liberal Arts or technical degree where graphic arts or digital image processing is core to the degree OR at least four years of graphic design experience without the above-specified degree.A3922_GEO_SPI About BAE Systems Intelligence & Security BAE Systems, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems plc, an international defense, aerospace and security company which delivers a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services.
