This is an hourly position and the starting rate of pay will be based upon experience and qualifications.As a Transdev technician you will perform engine, transmission, Fuel system, suspension, diagnostics and repairs on a Fleet of MCI coaches.Responsibilities:Performs transit vehicle maintenance that are compliant with Transdev standardsInspects, diagnoses, services and/or repairs all assigned transit vehicles and related mechanical equipment Ensures accurate upgrades and/or modifications on coach systems, road calls, and on-the-road repairs as neededCoaches and monitors team members on the work teamOther duties as requiredQualifications:Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalentMaintenance experience with all types of heavy duty transit equipmentFor Mechanic B levelAppropriate Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred not requiredExcellent communication skills with ability to read, interpret safety documents, blue prints, schematics and other mechanical diagrams.Physical Requirements:Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; reach with hands or arms; and talk or hear. Frequently required to sit. Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; and smell.
