Network Engineer with Security Clearance

Description SAIC is seeking a mid-level Network Engineer that can devise solutions to operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment to work on-site in Fort Bragg NC in support of the Army National Guard Security and Intelligence Directorate (ARNG G-2). Job Duties: * Configuring and troubleshooting IPSec and SSL VPNs. * Provide client consulting and training on the interfacing and use of the network facilities. * Maintain a complex range of computer network components and systems. * Research, evaluate, and recommend new computer network equipment and technologies. * Work with other network professionals to coordinate efforts to resolve cross-team challenges. * Troubleshoot multi-vendor network and hybrid cloud issues in the LAN/WAN * Possess understanding of the Cisco UCS integrated infrastructure and Flexpod Data Center solutions * Have a complete technical knowledge of all phases of network operations. * Evaluate network performance and interact with users to solve complex networking problems * Implement defined network protocols and methodology. * Travel up to 10% Qualifications Required Education: * Bachelor''s Degree and 3 years'' Network Engineer experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree Required Skills: * CCNA certification * DOD 8570 IAT Level II * 1 year of experience with cloud technologies * 1+ years'' experience with technical problem solving * Positive ''can do'' attitude with strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills. * Ability to lift 35 LBS Required Clearance: * Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
