DescriptionDSHS DDA Developmental Disabilities Case Resource Manager Are you seeking an environment where you make a real difference in the lives of others? We are looking for someone with your passion, experience, and tenacity in helping developmentally disabled children, adults, and their families.This role is integral to the functioning of the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). The part you''ll play is one of an advocate, case worker, and all around resilient problem solver for those you serve. As a valued member of our Lynnwood office duty station, you will join a team of dedicated Case Resource Managers caseload serves clients with disabilities in their own homes in South Snohomish County, which focuses on person centered planning for service delivery of individuals with developmentally disabilities. Some of what you''ll do: Identify support needs of customers of Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA)Schedule and conduct face-to-face home visits with customers and familiesComplete and revise customer assessments and service plans in CAREUtilize database software programs to manage client data Review and monitor customer plans, reports, and progressBased on assessed needs, refer individuals to appropriate DDA services, other department services, and community programs/resources.Work with families and community members to advocate on behalf of customers.Work with individuals, families and providers to prevent disruption in servicesWork in a fast paced environment with multiple requirementsWhat we are looking for: Experience managing a caseload of clients with developmental disabilitiesExperience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and the number of years of experienceExperience utilizing and coordinating multiple social service programs and resources to meet client needsProven ability in maintaining database software programs such as Microsoft Access to manage, track, update, query, or run reports etc., on client dataHands on experience with payment systems (Barcode, CARE, ACES, SSPS, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Access, and OutlookExperience determining eligibility of applicants for programs or services, including gathering financial and other information, interpreting rules, and conducting interviews in order to make decisionsWorking knowledge of Developmental Disabilities Administration RCWs, WACs, policies, and proceduresWho should apply?Professionals with a Bachelor''s degree in social sciences, social services, human services, behavioral sciences or an allied field and two (2) years of experience providing social services to people with developmental disabilities.
