You''ll use that understanding along with your SEO knowledge to define and execute quarterly and annual strategies to drive organic leads in specific audiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Set the SEO Strategy: Define and execute winning Whitehat organic search strategies to increase organic leads and drive revenue from search.• Report Results: Measure effectiveness of campaigns and report those results across the organization.• Coordinate Resources: Work across our internal marketing teams to identify and execute successful content strategies, page improvements, and linking opportunities.• Oversee Content Creation: coordinate with the content, creative, and product teams to identify content pieces and prioritize the production of content based on the set SEO strategy you defined for Leaf. • Oversee Organic Outreach: coordinate with the content, email, and social teams to promote Leaf content and ensure rapid and continued organic growth. Develop scalable linking strategies for our markets.• Own On-page and Off-Page Optimization: including keyword research, content gap analysis, structured data strategies, SERP analysis, link building, content outreach, internal linking strategies, information architecture, internal site search, etc.• Manage SEO Budgets: set and stay on budget for seo campaigns and ensure money and effort is directed to achieve maximum ROI.• Watch our organic footprint: Perform SEO audits and provide strategic recommendations based on shifting SEO best practices.• Understand web visitor segments: create targeted content that both increases rankings and leads to more organic conversions across visitor segments• Educate: ensure Leaf is always on the cutting edge of SEO and disseminate learnings and new insights across the various teams so organic is central to marketing efforts• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.Experience and Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor''s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.• 7+ years of experience in SEO• Proven experience personally building and executing SEO strategies in competitive commercial verticals.• Thirst for SEO knowledge and understanding that keeps you constantly on the leading edge• Detailed understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.• Experience with SEO tools such as Moz, aHrefs, DeepCrawl, Majestic SEO, ScreamingFrog, GroupHigh, and BuzzStream• Strong Technical SEO understanding, you don''t have to be a coder but do need to be able to tell our developers what changes are required and what to avoid.• Ability to identify, diagnose, and formulate effective strategies for the ever-shifting organic landscape.• Ability to absorb large amounts of data from various sources and analyze with Excel.• Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without "dropping the ball".• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a "roll up your sleeves" and "today not tomorrow" mentality.• Apply active listening skills through the ability to comprehend information presented and respond thoughtfully.• Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand, no matter how minute, by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional. • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.• Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co-worker or customer''s needs at the forefront of every interaction.• Ability to communicate effectively, to recognize, understand, and manage one''s own emotions as well as others, and foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.• Holding oneself responsible and being self-driven in accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies and being responsible for one''s own actions, performance, and decisions.• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:• Highly proficient in Excel• Detailed knowledge of Wordpress.• Great PM skills - including taking ownership, prioritizing, meeting deadlines and following-through on all tasks completionTravel Requirements:• No travel required.
