Location: VirtualJob Title: CIO Program Research ManagerWork You''ll Do:Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):Help shape and influence the research agenda for the CIO ProgramPlan, execute, and orchestrate activities across all aspects of the CIO Program''s research and editorial calendarManage project plan, risks, and issuesCoordinate leadership activities, including collaborations and interviews with stakeholdersInterview Deloitte senior leaders and translating their perspectives into compelling insights, partnering with the writing team to develop professionally written materials (e.g., reports, POVs, articles, blogs, video scripts, PPT presentations, educational materials).Develop ongoing relationships with Deloitte subject matter experts and practice teamsContinually monitor and identify developments affecting CIOs, CTOs, and other information technology executivesThe TeamThe CIO Program empowers CIOs and tech executives to achieve their bold vision through customized experiences and insights-enabling opportunities to transform and advance, immerse and break through, and connect and discover. The program plays an integral role in the Deloitte''s mission of supporting account leaders and teams in helping key client leaders, their teams, and organizations address their most pressing challenges. Our goal is to make Deloitte and our account leaders the trusted advisor to our client CIOs. The CIO Research team explores a broad set of technology and leadership issues affecting CIOs, tech executives, and our clients'' businesses to produce research & thought leadership.As the CIO Research manager, you will work with the CIO Program Research Director to plan and manage the CIO Program research agenda and collaboration with other Deloitte research teams. In this role, the manager will engage with C-suite technology leaders and collaborate with key leaders in the firm to shape, develop, and publish Deloitte''s marquee piece on technology leadership, the Global Technology Leadership Study, and other related tech leadership-related eminence. This person will also manage the CIO Research team members that will drive research and eminence initiatives forward. This role requires a strong organizational, analytics and communications skillset as well as technology and C-suite domain expertise.What You''ll Bring to the TableQualifications:Years of experience commensurate to Manager-level (5-7+ years)Expertise in technology and leadership topics and content preferredProven project management and organizational skills including the ability to scope, plan, and manage to achieve overall objectivesStrong executive presence, communication skills (written and verbal), and EQ in working with senior leadership with varying perspectives, account teams, and various clientsSelf-directed and ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong balance of strategic and analytic skills; experience conducting primary research utilizing internal and external sources, and capacity to distill complex technology and leadership concepts into digestible insights preferredFlexibility, adaptability, responsiveness, attention to detail, resourcefulness, including comfort working with ambiguity and continually evolving prioritiesFocus on diversity, equity, and inclusion in creating and building teams, thought leadership, and perspectivesComfortable working in a virtual environment with geographically dispersed teamsThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $132,000 to $241,000.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
