Chief Experience Officer (CXO) Req : 32371 Category: Leadership Status: Full-Time Shift: Day Facility: RWJ New Brunswick Location: Administration, One Robert Wood Johnson Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 RWJBH is seeking a Chief Experience Officer (CXO) for our New Brunswick campus. The CXO will work in conjunction with the COO to continually provide and improve both patient and employee experience. The Chief Experience Officerwill take the culture of clinical excellence and continue to expand it into the world of patient & family-centered care by transforming the concepts of service excellence, patient and provider experience, patient advocacy, and patient relations into actionable behaviors and sustainable processes.The Chief Experience Officer is a new and pivotal role that will influence the future development of our organization. Responsibilities include: Align customer experience strategy and roadmap with growth and overall Hospital vision. Build and maintain a company-wide process for chartering small, cross-functional teams solving for specific customer experiences, prioritizing them, allocating resources, and holding them accountable. Implementation of the patient experience initiatives, including but not limited, to clinicians, management, and support personnel at the local facility to foster a culture centered around the patient. Establish a plan to address productivity, operational performance, patient throughput, and team member engagement.Establish and develop strategies for culture.Create an environment that supports team morale, improved service, and the highest quality. Initiate a strategic process that addresses continuous measurable improvement.Serve as the subject-matter expert on established and evolving best practices related to engagement and experience.Exhibit strong communication, presentation, and listening skills to ensure facility-wide collaboration and coordination.Assure the highest standards of healthcare delivery and outcomes, ensuring a constant patient focus. Qualifications/Education: Bachelor s Degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience. Master s Degree with 5/7 years of relevant experience. Proven track record of initiating change and innovation Required Background Experience: High level, complex problem-solving abilities both in groups and in one-on-one situations.Ability to translate the mission and vision to everyday work.Ability to manage and lead in a matrixed organization.Ability to cultivate and foster relationships at every level of the organization (locally at the hospital, within the system, and board relations).Demonstrated success in leading system process-improvement initiatives in an academic quaternary care facility.Decisive leader, with the ability to understand physician s viewpoints and needs, and work strategically in the best interest of patients and the facility.
