Lab Technician

Job Description Job Description Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shift as well as willingness to work 10-12 days consecutively, including weekends. Mandatory:- • Bachelor''s degree in Chemistry or equivalent years of experience• Minimum of 3 years of previous lab experience or demonstrated proficiency in laboratory analytical techniques• Demonstrated proficiency in various analytical instrumentation including but not limited to balances, auto-titrators, LCs, GCs, ICs, pH meters, discrete analyzers, moisture analyzers, refractometers, and densitometers• Experience working in an ISO/GMP regulated manufacturing laboratory is preferred• Experience using chromatography software as well as LIMS is preferred• Experience in PM USA Quality Management System is preferred• Strong verbal, written, and computer skills including proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work independently• bility to plan, prioritize, and execute work activities to ensure completion of sampling and testing requirements• Willingness and ability to spend the majority of the work day standing, climbing steps, and ladders and the ability to lift samples or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds• Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shift as well as willingness to work 10-12 days consecutively, including weekends. Ideal Candidate:- • Performing instrument calibrations, verifications, and troubleshooting to assure that quality system requirements are met or exceeded.• Complying with Federal, State, and Company regulations including compliance with procedures, quality management system requirements, good laboratory practices, safety policies, and regulatory/environmental requirements.• pplying problem solving techniques within the laboratory and assisting production in identifying, controlling, and resolving product and other quality issues.• Investigating using root cause analysis.
