Maintenance Tech FULL-TIME $27/hr Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical dustrial Maintenance Technician Job Duties: • Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer''s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. Locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.• Removing defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.• Determining changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.• Adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.• Controlling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.• Fabricating repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.• Maintaining equipment, parts, and supplying inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.• Conserving maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.• Providing mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.• Preparing mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.• Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.• Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.• Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. *Pay ranges from $27.00-$32.00 Perks of Pratt? • Insurance benefits within ONE MONTH of hire • Monthly BONUS, paid holidays, and 401k with partial match • 6 months: PAID vacation days Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Employee assistance program • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Parental leave • Vision insurance Supplemental Pay: • Bonus pay DFW-04 WS-04 Schedule Shift start: 2:00PM Shift length: 8 - 10 hours 2nd Shift Benefits Health, dental, vision insurance - available after 30 days Paid time off 401(k) plan Qualifications Can lift 50 lbs Must be at least 21+ years old Salary range is from $26 - $30 per hour based on experienceSkills/Qualifications: Equipment Maintenance, Technical Understanding, Technical Zeal, Deals with Uncertainty, Basic Safety, Power Tools, Attention to Detail, Flexibility, Supervision, Job Knowledge, Productivity.
