Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for two Airworthiness Engineers (Associate, Mid-Level or Senior) to join our team in Berkeley, Missouri.This position will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to the full range of activities required to support Airworthiness/Flight Certification of various external stores on USAF (United States Air Force)/USN (United States Navy)/Phantom Works/DOD (Department of Defense) aircraft.Position Responsibilities:Critical thinking, problem solving, change management, project management, influencing without authority, & consultationAbility to communicate concisely in writing, verbally, one-on-one, in small groups, and to large audiencesExperience managing, developing, motivating and communicating responsibilities to team membersMaintain situational awareness of the overall program and critical path sequencingProactively communicate with various leadership team/s, peers and customersThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry1+ years of experience with MIL-HDBK-516 and implementing military airworthiness processesExperience working with or on an engineering teamPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAn active U.S. Secret or active Top Secret Security ClearanceExperience in FAA certificationExperience leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet aggressive schedulesExperience leading or managing projects and/or teamsExperience leading a large project or program which required the use of project management tools and processesExperience with the operation of aircraft systems and knowledge of aircraft performance in one or more of the following areas: aerodynamics, stability and control, propulsion, structures, and mission systemsExperience with planning project budgets and monitoring financial performanceTypical Education/Experience: Associate (Level 2) Bachelor''s degree and typically 2 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a Master''s degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Mid-Level (Level 3) Bachelor''s degree and typically 5 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a Master''s degree with typically 3 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Senior (Level 4)Bachelor''s degree and typically 9 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a Master''s degree with typically 7 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
