Find your future with us.The T-7 Advanced Pilot Training Program requires an Experienced Systems Engineer to lead functional analysis, requirements decomposition, system level trade studies, and system architecture development in support of the program''s growth and aircraft derivative efforts.The T-7 program is currently in engineering manufacturing development (EMD) with two production representative aircraft in flight test, with flight testing of EMD jets to commence soon. The program is developing derivative aircraft concepts for technology demonstrators and training aircraft for a variety of domestic and international opportunities. This is a unique opportunity for a leadership role on a "new start" aircraft development program, and will also provide an opportunity to employ model based systems engineering techniques.The T-7 is an exciting, dynamic program that is dedicated to breaking the norm. Join the team and Let''s Go Fly!Position Responsibilities:Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify highly-complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.Leads analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Leads, develops, maintains and identifies improvements the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes & tools.Resolves cross-functional technical issuesSecurity Clearance:This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.5 or more years of experience with applying systems engineering principles in a development environment of a complex system.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with systems architecture, requirements development and test & verification.Experience in the DOORs requirements management tool.Experience in model based systems engineering & model base systems engineering tools (e.g. CAMEO)Excellent oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated leadership skills.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+5 years'' related work experience, Master+8 years'' related work experience).
