Senior RF Filter Designer

Resonant (a Murata company) is transforming the market for RF front-ends (RFFE) and disrupting the RFFE supply chain by enabling customers and partners to deliver 5G filters designed using its WaveXâ„¢ software tools platform. WaveXâ„¢ allows Resonant''s customers to capitalize on the company''s robust IP portfolio and extensive services offerings.Location San Mateo, California Essential Job Responsibilities Use commercial circuit analysis and physical modeling tools as well as custom software packages to design and analyze RF filters. Direct RF measurement analysis by generating test plans and analyzing results. Produce RF engineering reports with a clear conclusion/summary and next steps. Drive software tool development efforts to improve design methodology. Strong written and verbal English skills to support complex analysis. Ability to work well in a small group environment with excellent communication skills. Willingness to jump in and take on new tasks to support the team. Capable of leading projects and supporting top management. Preferred Qualifications Experience with EM simulation tools such as HFSS or Sonnet. Ability to program effectively in MATLAB is desirable. Familiarity with all RF/Microwave measurements and test equipment (e.g. signal generator, power meter, VNA, spectrum analyzer). Experience with circuit simulation software (ADS, AWR, COMSOL). Experience with drawing programs, schematic capture and PCB layout tools. Experience with designing RF SAW filters for mobile and non-mobile applications.
