Configuration Management Specialist : The Configuration Management Specialist controls program technical data, establishes and maintains configuration processes; communicates these processes, variations, and deviations to the program; and coordinates, submits and maintains technical data and relevant processes. Position Responsibilities: * Act as primary point of contact for technical data in the ENOVIA PLM tool. Ensure data owners follow data generation, review and release procedures. * Review program engineering configuration control methodology and variances in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment (ENOVIA) and provide specific direction to data owners that will prevent process or system issues and to ensure proper standards and quality are established and maintained. * Monitor engineering release and provide appropriate and compliant data submittals to requesting or contracting customers. * Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and provide specific direction to data owners to ensure compliance. * Coordinate with contracts organization and customers regarding new or changing requirements. * Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal Bell and external customers (USG, regulatory agencies, partners, OEMs, and suppliers). * Schedule and manage activities related to program or product-related boards (e.g. Technical Review Board (TRB), Configuration Change Board (CCB), etc.) by managing the meeting notices and execution, providing direction to participants and stakeholders before, during and after the sessions. * Support CM reviews and audits, including FCA/PCA and provide direction before, during and after the events to prevent or resolve issues. * Manage Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Item Deliverable (DID) requirements. * Determine and apply the proper data marking to deliverable information. * Manage engineering data correction, consolidation, or system migration. Qualifications Education Requirements: * Bachelor''s Degree is required. Degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred. Position Requirements: * Experience at all levels will be considered with a minimum of 2 years of related experience in configuration management or data management. Positions at various levels will be offered, depending on experience level. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required and the candidate can learn new software. * Excellent communication skills are required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively to peers, managers, customers and suppliers. * Good interpersonal and organizational skills are required. * Must have the ability to work effectively within a team. * Must have the ability to prioritize a variety of assignments. * Familiarity with ENOVIA is preferred. * Familiarity with a Product Life-cycle Management (PLM) software, data management software, and document imaging software is preferred. * Practical and working knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and associated markings is preferred. * Must have a basic understanding of the roles, tasks, policies and procedures required to execute the change process, configuration management, data management, and product-related data maintained in the ENOVIA environment. * Familiarity with the Configuration Management principles and methods contained in ANSI/EIA-649B, ISO 10007, and MIL-HDBK-61A preferred. * Familiarity with the Data Management principles and methods contained in DI-SESS-81000E, DoD Directive 5230.24, and MIL-STD-31000A preferred. * Certification in configuration management is preferred. * CJ Textron Relocation Assistance policy is in effect / applies for this position for candidates who qualify.
