Description Position Title: ServiceNow Administrator/Developer Mid 1697 Location: Springfield, VA Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI Description: Compass is looking for someone who has ServiceNow Administration and ServiceNow application development background that includes but not limited Java, TomCat/Apache app server/SQLServer,C2S/AWS, Java, CSS, SOAP, REST, JSON, etc.. General Responsibilities: * Work closely with teammates, customers, and leadership to ensure activities are aligned and integrated. * Work closely with customers to provide recommendations on business process efficiencies and ServiceNow best practice. * Facilitate requirement discussions with teammates, customers, and leadership along with participation in daily scrum meetings. * Develop and prototype applications and interfaces and support Analysis of Alternative (AoA) activities that independently identify the most appropriate solutions to customer''s needs. Basic Qualifications: * At least one year relevant work experience with ServiceNow as an Administrator * At least one year work experience specifically as a Service Now Developer Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software * Experience Developing on the ServiceNow Platform * At least one year relevant work experience supporting ServiceNow scoped applications * Experience with ServiceNow workflow editor or flow designer * Experience with ServiceNow on-Prem/self-hosted implementations * Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal widgets, UI development and, configuration * Experience with ServiceNow ITSM specifically Change Management and PPM modules * Experience with writing and implementing ServiceNow business rules and client scripts * Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, with participation in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production * Executing advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, & Workflow Activities * Building and maintaining integrations using Web Services, JDBC, middleware etc. * Experience with Web Technology, including but not limited to XML, HTML, JavaScript and Web Services (SOAP, REST, JSON) * Demonstrated experience with web applications, networks, protocols and email is needed. * Knowledge of relational databases is required (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle) * A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL or CMDB * Prior Experience with using UI Pages, UI Macro, HTML and CSS * Experience with developing and implementing custom UI Changes with usage of Web Technologies such as HTML and CSS changes. * Performs multiple tasks at specialist level * May be recognized as a SME * Evaluates & recommends new technology & processes based upon cost, risk, mission Desired Certifications: * ServiceNow Administrator * ServiceNow Developer Education/Certification Required: Master''s degree, Bachelor''s degree plus 2-year experience, Associates degree plus 4 years'' experience, or a minimum of 6 years'' experience, in relevant field.
