Revere Court is a standalone memory care community in NE Portland. Revere Courts sits on a large one-acre lot with many fruit and native Oregon trees. About the Role: The Executive Director is responsible for overall management of the community including assuring that resident care and services are provided at a level to meet or exceed Federal, State and Corporate standards. The Executive Director must assure that services are provided in an effective and profitable manner in accordance with approved budget. Among the responsibilities of the role are: • Monitor community''s operations daily. This includes keeping track of census, revenue, unusual occurrences, staffing, overtime, and supply costs. Implement appropriate measures to meet residents'' needs, maintain community''s compliance with regulations. Implement appropriate measures to comply with budget and achieve maximum profitability. Encourages teamwork and continually demonstrates commitment to quality care and customer service with community.Encourages and utilizes all employees to market the community. Ensures that all personnel are trained to appropriately answer telephone and collect necessary information from prospects.Strive to provide a consistent visit experience. Executes the customer visit standards, including personal involvement in every visit: The Executive Director''s role is to instill confidence that resident satisfaction and care are our priority. Doing so will lay the foundation for a smooth transition from sales to operations.Works to make the community a "Great Place to Work". Assesses employee satisfaction and morale on a regular basis. Conduct exit interviews to determine reasons for terminations and develops strategies for reducing avoidable turnover, i.e., employees leaving for job related reasons. About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: A current Administrator''s license or certification or qualifications for the state where community is located, or the ability to obtain one in 90 days.Three years-experience working with elderly in a residential setting.Be familiar with social mediums such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.Must have an acceptable Criminal Record Clearance or Exemption.Must have valid driver''s license, driving record in good standing, and own transportation.Understanding of the industry and the business challenges customers face. Personal Characteristics: • Must present a professional image through dress and action and have lots of energy to perform all facets of job. • Must have outgoing personality and enjoy working with people of all ages; can''t be shy. • Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and be able to speak confidently and effectively in front of groups. • Must be able to create an environment for employees which encourage creativity, positive problem resolution and overall job satisfaction. • Must foster teamwork and cooperation among department heads and supervisory personnel.
