Ka''ala Systems Technology Corporation is hiring a Senior Telecommunication Equipment Installer and Repairer to lead a team of 12 technicians at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility. Applicants must possess the following: Skills: - Ability to terminate single and multi-mode fiber. - Ability to use an Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer (OTDR), proficient in optical loss testing. - Ability to use tools such as hammer drills and core drills. - Proficiency at reading, creating and manipulating CAD drawings. - Proficiency at creating and maintaining network drawings, as-build and other documentation. - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds. - Must be able to see and distinguish different colors. Experience: - Extensive knowledge of OSP and ISP cabling installation per the TIA-758, GR-765, GR-20, TIA-568 and TIA-942 standards. - A minimum of 3 years of experience with shipyard internal building (inside plant-ISP) and between building (outside plant-OSP) copper and fiber optics cable infrastructure, conduit runs, manhole systems, dry dock service galleries, and datacenter.
