We are passionate about our most important asset - our people, and cultivate an environment that provides development opportunities to grow professionally, and we offer a comprehensive total rewards package for your health and life.About the RoleKey job responsibilities will include:Manage and report on key system performance indicators; working with hosting vendor to provide optimum performance.Provide emergency response to significant system issues, unexpected downtime, and urgent business issue resolution.Manage user support of Oracle systems including troubleshooting, documentation, and user assistance including all service requests with Oracle and hosting service.Document and manage Oracle systems backup and disaster recovery.Document and manage a patch process to support business needs and minimize business interruptions.Document and manage upgrade plans to maintain a version level consistent with Oracle support timelines.Provide functional user support including troubleshooting, documentation, and user assistance.Manage all reporting needs from Oracle including modifying existing reports and developing new reports.Provide Oracle Business Intelligence administration and data support.Provide project management and implementation for integrating new or existing software and data packages with the Oracle system.Analyze and implement new or changed functionality to improve business processes.Analyze and recommend infrastructure needs and changes including location of systems, partners, and equipment.Provide guidance to IT Manager and management team on direction and facilitation of any additional functionality.Other duties as assigned.Position Requirements/PreferencesBachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2+ years relevant experience or training with an Oracle product or a combination of education and experience. Oracle E-Business Suite experience highly preferred.General familiarity with networking, computer hardware, software applications and electronic communication peripherals is preferred.General familiarity with software programs including all versions of Microsoft Windows, Red Hat Linux, Active Directory, Exchange Server, MS Office, VMWare.Familiarity with XML, PL/SQL or SQL.Ability to analyze, report and recommend functional changes, projects and implementations in terms of overall value and return to the business.Ability to logically troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems.Ability to express technical concepts effectively, both verbal and in written form.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.BenefitsWith a combined 70 years of success, Avidity Science is a worldwide leader that maintains the small, family feel within the culture of the company.
