Company DescriptionGeneral Summary:Red Wing Shoe is looking for a Temporary Consumer Specialist to deliver remarkable customer service to our consumers or dealers who make inquiries about our products and services or who purchase our product online. This role will ensure that issues or concerns are handled promptly and thoroughly through formal verbal or written communication.Pay is $16.00 per hour. 40 hours a week. 2-week rotating shifts between the hours of 8:30-5 and 8-4:30 M-F. This assignment is expected to last approximately 3-6 months.Training for up to 4 weeks in Red Wing, MN is required for this position.Essential Duties:• Provide our consumers with a "WOW" experience by providing friendly, knowledgeable Customer Service that exceeds their expectations.• Resolve consumer concerns by developing a solution that leaves the consumer feeling satisfied with the outcome.• Assist consumers with questions regarding warranties, ordering, order status, product selection, shipping/returns of online purchases.• Educate consumers about product and services and recommend the appropriate product solution.• Receive, answer, and resolve consumer/dealer complaints and/or inquiries via phone, email, or chats.• Direct consumers to their nearest store or online retailer to facilitate sales.• Log consumer cases into .• Escalate Product Quality concerns from dealers and consumers through .QualificationsEducation and Experience:High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 1 years of experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience must be related to customer service.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Experience working in the ecommerce channelSignificant Knowledge of product offeringsProficient use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet , Serenade, and order systemsAnalytical thinking skillsEffective oral and written communication skillsCustomer centricGood interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.Must be able to relate to or learn about all different types of people from different cultures and backgrounds.Ability to establish trust between customers and partners within the company through impression of sincerity, empathy and willingness to serve the customer.Ability to manage and deal with irate and directive customers during escalated calls.Physical Demands:Office environment that consists of extensive sitting, keyboarding and extensive amount of time spent responding to emails.Work Environment:Will be required to work occasional Saturdays and flex hours during the week and holidays. Occasional overtime required.
