Client Job Description: client is looking for a Dev-Ops Engineer: must have prior experience in working as software developers, software architects, etc. They have practical experience in dealing with DevOps, operations, configuration, leadership roles Responsibilities: As a Dev-Ops engineer you will: Develop appropriate DevOps channels throughout the organization. Implement DevOps practices. Establish a continuous build environment to accelerate software deployment and development processes. Engineer general and effective processes. Requirements: Experience in Azure Environment in building Ci/CD pipelines . Excellent knowledge of software development along with configuration management practices in Unix and Linux-based environment. Experience in handling Infrastructure as a code Strong understanding of DevOps concepts Possess sound knowledge of cloud-based environments. Experience in handling automated deployment CI/CD tools. Must possess excellent knowledge in Linux fundamentals and scripting. Must have strong expertise in operating Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages like Python, Perl, and Shell. Previous experience in implementing continuous delivery and Continuous Integration. Experience in building solutions to move data and process it. Location This position is based in Pleasanton CA. Job Description: Expectations from this role: 1. Interprets the DevOps Tool/feature/component design to develop/support the same in accordance with specifications 2. Adapts existing DevOps solutions and creates relevant DevOps solutions for new contexts 3. Codes, debugs, tests and documents and communicates DevOps development stages/status of DevOps develop/support issues 4. Selects appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components 5. Optimises efficiency, cost and quality of DevOps process, tools and technology development 6. Validates results with user representatives; integrates and commissions the overall solution 7. Helps Engineers troubleshoot issues that are novel/complex and are not covered by SOPs 8. Design, install, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and software 9. Able to automate infrastructure provisioning on cloud/in-premises with the guidance of architects 10. Provides guidance to DevOps Engineers so that they can support existing components 11. Good understanding of Agile methodologies and is able to work with diverse teams 12. Knowledge of more than 1 DevOps toolstack (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, opensource) Typical performance measures: 1. Quality of Deliverables 2.
