Job Description ASRC Federal, Agile Decision Sciences (ADS) is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration, and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences (ADS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is currently seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer in Moorestown, NJ to support Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) programs Job Title: Systems Engineer Role and Responsibilities Work in a collaborative agile team providing System Engineering support for the system design and development of Mission Critical Real-Time Systems. Participates in system and software milestone reviews supporting system design, integration readiness and system acceptance. Performs one or more of the following tasks: * Develop or update system level and subsystem level requirements and design artifacts, including Model Based System Engineering models.* Develop or update system level test plans and test procedures along with associated regression test plans and procedures. * Design and Definition of internal and external system interfaces* Support informal and formal test events, load file stability testing, and other customer-driven test activities. * Develop and integrate system modifications necessary to meet system performance requirement analysis.* Hardware/Software Integration and Test * Software Development to meet system requirements* Regularly record and report progress of plans and procedures development and test execution. Basic Qualifications * Bachelor''s Degree in System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or related field.* Minimum of 2 years'' experience in system engineering* Experience in Real time mission critical development, maintenance, or test in an Open Architecture Environment; Operating Environments; Model-based tools; Information Assurance; Tools Development; Safety Analysis; Real-Time System Data Analysis; Problem Analysis; System Integration.* Experience writing and testing software written in Java and C++. * Experience working in a LINUX environment, to include scripting.* Experience with process driven life cycle processes and procedures.* Strong skills with MS Office and Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse. * Familiar with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) development* Experience working within an Agile development context* US Citizenship to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Desired Qualifications * Active Secret Clearance* Knowledge/experience with Aegis Weapon System development* Experience with design and development of autonomous systems.* Experience with CI/CD Pipeline environments* Experience with the following tools are considered a plus: * JIRA (Issue and bug tracking tool) * DOORS (Requirements Management tool)* SysML (System Modeling tool)* Rhapsody (UML Modeling tool)* Matlab * Performance Analysis Tools such as Valgrind, oprofile and collectd * Sikuli (Automated Test tool) * Jenkins (Continuous Integration tool) ASRC Federal and its Subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employers.
