Technical Trainer - (MSC0104.2) with Security Clearance

Our team supporting the Military Sealift Command (MSC) in Chesapeake, VA has an immediate need for a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver classroom training for MSC shipboard IT systems. The position also requires maintaining the training facility networks, wideband satellite communication system, and training labs that emulate MSC shipboard configurations. Primary responsibilities include: • Develop course content as directed by the Senior Training Analyst • Design presentations using Microsoft Office products • Instruct students using developed course content, a student guide, and training lab equipment • Provide training relating to satellite communications, computer network administration, and operation of Microsoft servers and workstations • Coordinate with individuals or small groups for remote training sessions using communications platforms such as Microsoft Teams Job Requirements • Must possess current IAT II certification, including an appropriate Computing Environment certification, per IAWF DoD 8570.01M • Must have at least 5 years of instruction and course development experience • Familiarity with MSC IT systems and US Navy IT environments is a plus Security Clearance Secret Job Type Full-time StratasCorp provides a complete compensation package with competitive wages and benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA & HSA accounts, disability and other income protection benefits, life insurance, paid personal time-off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401K Saving Plan with a company matching contribution.
