Job Purpose The Manager of Regional Service is responsible for the overall success of NMC''s Rental Service division. You''ll manage the performance and development of 27 employees at nine NMC CAT Rental Store locations across Nebraska and Council Bluffs, IA. As the Manager of Regional Service, you will ensure uninterrupted rental services to our customers by establishing and achieving rental-ready standards and service operations processes such as annual inspections and planned maintenance. Measures of success include such metrics as P&L, equipment readiness, customer satisfaction and safety. This position is based out of Omaha, NE but you''ll spend ~25% of the time visiting our store locations where you will embody and build a high-performing and safe culture through engagement and accountability. We''re looking for a team player with a positive attitude who can drive success through engaged leadership. Essential & Primary Job Duties Manages regional P&L through analyzing and controlling expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements Builds and manages a competent team by effectively hiring, training and developing employees, delegating work assignments, writing and conducting performance appraisals, coaching and counseling, and administering disciplinary procedures. Plans, manages and controls all service-related activities associated with service repair work. Develops measurable goals and a system of accountability for contamination control and administers ongoing safety programs. Coordinates safety training and provides guidance in the field of safety. Executes shop safety in accordance with both company and governmental standards. Addresses matters pertaining to service such as technical issues, diagnosing equipment failures, invoice and repair inquiries, etc. Makes policy and re-work decisions based upon best interest of NMC and customer. Ensures employee skills, capabilities and areas of expertise are routinely assessed and training secured when needed, in order to keep abreast of developments in the industry and maintain a high level of knowledge resulting in minimal customer downtime.
