Job DescriptionTechnical Architect, Supply Chain PlanningPosition Summary Our client is seeking a dynamic technical manager ideally with Client, Pharma, or Retail company experience. Consultative by nature with the ability to work independently &/or collaboratively. Lead project teams, and mentors, and provide hands-on support to global multi-year highly regulated projects with colossal complexity and a significant impact on the business. The operational background is a major plus with a focus on Supply and Demand Planning.Key Activities Seasoned professional who can work independently, collaboratively, or lead a team of configurations/developers. The Technical Architect manages all implementation processes, including progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Leads cross-functional project teams by prioritizing and coordinating all aspects of project execution. Work closely with stakeholders and functional owners to ensure well-defined business cases, strategies, and project plans. Complete project documentation as per PMO best practices and methodology. Detail-oriented analytical and innovative problem-solving skills: Coordinate root cause analysis sessions for issues with the functional and technical team across enterprise and external partners Lead the support personnel training for application integrations platform across the enterprise so that the support team can operate independently. Planning and execution of knowledge transfer sessions between project and support teams. Monitor, troubleshoot, and fix integrations to support the business after go-live. Keep track of open tickets and coordinate accordingly with relevant parties to bring them to closure. Make recommendations for the integration solution fixes by conducting proper research on the hardware and software sides. Collaborate with the analysts, integration developers, and business owners for cutover planning and project deployment. Trains employees and vendors on integration support practices and features. Translate domain understanding/context into technical capabilities for technical architects and development teams. Multi-year future state visioning of current and possible solutions Partner with other integration teams to ensure seamless transitions Ensures work scope is maintained, and solutions are implemented Responsible for examining the current system''s architecture and working with technical staff to recommend more effective system solutions Works with development teams and infrastructure teams to design the solutions and identify appropriate SAS packages Direct, coordinate, and manage the infrastructure setup and troubleshooting, working with operations and support teams. Prepare Standards and Guidelines for technical design based on goals and specific requests from teams and clients. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Cyber-Security to shape solution guardrails, standards, and patterns. Stay abreast of current trends/technologies in the Supply Chain space and be aware of technology initiatives from other best-in-class Supply Chain and technology companies globally. Ensure everyone has a voice, melding options to create new solutions Manage Stakeholder''s concerns regarding technical issues in their areas Envision & Deliver solutions that meet the quality standards Partner across functions to tackle multifaceted challenges.Technical Skills: Min 8 Years of Supply Chain Industry Experience Min 1 year experience with cloud-based planning systems such as o9 Min 5 years of SAP APO Demand Planning and Supply Planning. Min 2 years integration experience with SAP/APO from/to non-SAP planning systems Understanding of Azure Cloud and resource management. Project Management Certification is a plus (Nice to Have) Agile Project Management Experience (SCRUM Experience or Certification is preferred) Atlassian Jira (preferred) Advanced user of Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project 13 and MS Project Online Knowledge of work scheduling tools and techniques SDLC Methodologies - Agile / Scrum / Rapid Development / Iterative Development / Waterfall Software Release / Deployment management experience Understanding of future Supply Chain Planning tools/technologies Solid understanding of IT group operating model, including enterprise architecture, development life-cycle, tools, methods, and processesSoft skills: Business acumen: Strong leadership and managerial skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving skills: design solutions considering the big picture Ability to tie together solutions across products/platforms Ability to simplify & standardise complex concepts / processesRequired Qualifications: Can flex slightly on the below requirements but they must still have a solid Supply Chain, SAP, and Demand Planning background Minimum 8 Years of Supply Chain Industry Experience Minimum 1-year experience with cloud-based planning systems such as o9 Minimum 5 years of SAP APO Demand Planning and Supply Planning. Minimum 2 years of integration experience with SAP/APO from/to non-SAP planning systemsNote: W2 ONLY - Must be able to convert without sponsorship Temp to Perm Opportunity Must be local and willing to work in the Bristol PA office or LIC Office Hybrid Schedule Will be serving in a management position but must be a highly technical hands-on candidate.
