Job DescriptionBusiness Data Analyst Job Description The Sustainable Investments Data Analyst reports directly to the Manager of the Sustainable Investment Index Data Operations Team within the Benchmarks and Indices (B&I) vertical of LSEG''s Data and Analytics division. The main focus of The Business Data Analyst is to support a wide range of data & analysis on a universe of companies, and for helping to ensure quality and accuracy in all our Sustainable Investment products which include Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure of global companies, Climate/Green data, Carbon Data, and Product Involvement data. Key Responsibilities Data management and analysis of inputs for FTSE Russell''s Sustainable Index Business The Business Data Analyst Creates and maintains process documentation while adhering to governance and auditing requirements Identify process and procedure improvements that reduce risk and deliver quality to clients The Business Data Analyst act as a subject matter expert as it pertains to ESG, Climate/Green, and Product Involvement data sets Demonstrate subject matter expertise in our Index and Data Methodology The Business Data Analyst will support internal and external client questions Work with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed client and business needs Deliver high-quality data for our index clients Provide input and expertise to assist with the development of new products and process Candidate Profile / Key Skills Good technical knowledge of ESG indices and analytics, and a good understanding of the utility to end-users Knowledge of the financial markets across both buy and sell-side areas Self-motivated, solid communication skills, and team orientated Drive to achieve business goals Excellent relationship skills Good networking ability Solid communication and presentation skills Ability to deal with multiple priorities and changing requirements Ability to take a strategic view of commercial opportunities Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong degree in a numerate subject Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Preferred Skills Experience with ESG factors and datasets, carbon expertise, Product Involvement or sustainability SQL, VBA, and Python experience preferred Languages skills like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French Hybrid Working Model - 2 Days Onsite 3 Remote About the Company Our client is one of the world''s largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure.
