Executive Batch Cutting Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled Batch Cutting Coordinator responsible for planning and managing the cutting of materials for the production of trusses. Batch Cutting coordinator ensures the work is done accurately, cost effectively and within given timelines.Responsibilities: • Review jobs ready to go to production for compliance with process checklist• Optimize designs considering material currently in stock• Inventory lumber and maintain lumber files in software system• Assist customers in a professional mannerRequirementsCandidate must:• Have high aptitude for learning and efficiently using technical computer programs• Be very detail orientated• Able to follow established processes• Good communications skills. Verbal, written and electronic communications (Text and email)• Competence with standard business programs; Excel, Word, Outlook• Competency in basic mathematics. Geometry and trigonometry a plus• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook• Have reliable work recordValued, but not required Experience• General construction experience• Familiar with programs and systems used for truss design• Knowledge in the application of the products being designed• Knowledgeable in reading architectural and structural plans• Truss manufacturing document familiarity: layouts, build sheets, saw files and engineering• Some flexibility of hours possible.
