In this job, you''ll provides direction and oversight to vendors engaged in the daily activities of constructing, maintaining and restoring Southern California Edison''s electrical Transmission system. As a Business Operations Advisor, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Weekly tracking of contractor performance goals within their assigned area of responsibility Validates that all vendors working under their jurisdiction comply with all applicable contract agreements, resources and financial commitments and safety standards Responsible for analyzing information, make sound decisions, and develop and implement strategies to complete the work on time and in the most cost efficient manner possible Ensure that contract construction and maintenance operations are reconciled, invoiced and accounted in an effective and efficient manner. Monitoring costs per pole by ensuring accuracy and timeliness of tasking, field change orders, service/time confirmations of Source Contractors Partner with Grids to establish a Design release strategy to meet shared performance goals Understand and manage to unit Source Contract and application of the Contractor time and equipment contract Ensure all pre-construction requirements are met QualificationsThe essentials Minimum 7 years of project coordination The preferred Minimum 2 years in contract management Proven project management and team leadership skills. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Experience managing multiple projects and functioning effectively under tight time constraints, shifting priorities, and making critical decisions with minimal supervision. You should know ... Work Mode: When a return-to-office date has been determined, this position''s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.
