We are open to supporting 100% remote work anywhere within the US. Preferred candidate will sit in US, working Eastern Standard Time. May be required to attend quarterly meetings in Metro DMV areaICFs Digital Modernization Division (DMD) is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology department, seeking a Salesforce Architect. Our services focus on enabling agency mission and business transformation using industry-leading low-code platforms, mobile applications, robotics process automation and data analytics platforms. We are partnered with some of the worlds leading and most innovative companies like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Appian, Microsoft and UiPath. We focus on offering a full range of architecture and planning, system implementation, integration, analytics and O&M for our customers. We are seeking a Salesforce Architect to support our federal projects. The Salesforce Architect must design, develop, and articulate solutions based on a customer''s strategic business or technical requirements. The candidate will aid in establishing the technology standards, security standards, change management process etc. for large federal agencies.The candidate must demonstrate progressive leadership in the full life cycle of the software development environment. Prior experience in establishing a Center of Excellence with emphasis on Governance, setting of Multi-Org rollout strategy, and Release and Change Management Processes, including DevOps and CI/CD (AZURE) is required. Experience in providing program oversight and technical architecture for applications. Excellent analytical, technology, communication, decision making and problem-solving skills.The FDA Digital Services Center provides PaaS and SaaS offerings to the FDA and its offices with a focus on delivering modernized, quality, software, as well as hosted services. The DSC works with multiple vendors to host applications and provide a platform utilizing industry best practices and standards. The DSC team provides the contractor support for both Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and Development and Modernization (DM&E) efforts.RESPONSIBILITIES:Strong practical deployment knowledge of Lightning components, VisualForce, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, Reports and Dashboard and AppExchange deploymentAbility to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a robust solutionLead the implementation with responsibility for the delivery of the technical architecture designs and solution strategy, including Org strategy, org migration, application architecture & designWork with Client''s enterprise architecture team to define technical development guidelines and security guidelines for Salesforce based applications.Develop change and release management for the Salesforce applications using DevOps and CI/CD processes and tools including AZURE DevOps, Bitbucket/GIThub and EclipseIDE solutionsDefine agile development life cycle for client applications and if needed, integrate it with the existing system development life cycle.Provide guidance on master data management associated with Salesforce, including data capture, warehousing, storing, cleansing and securityRecommend strategy for source code management for salesforce applications.Recommend integration strategies with different business systems including working use of leading integration tools.Provide strong leadership and mentoring of junior resources. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor''s degree or equivalent years of experienceMust be a US Citizen per Federal contract requirementMinimum of 3 years of (SFDC) systems implementation experience. Minimum of 5 years of software development and system design experienceMinimum of 3 years experience in Salesforce with end-to-end implementation of key SFDC architectural concepts and how they influence designMinimum of 3 years experience as Technical Architect on implementation projects within platform, Service cloud, Einstein Analytics, Community Cloud and Marketing cloud experience, including the limitation of the platform (e.g. API and governor limits)Minimum of 3 years of data Migration, SSO and web services experience involving Salesforce platformPREFFERED:Certified Application Architect OR Certified System Architect highly preferredExperience with various capabilities offered by the platform including Workflow, Chatter, Knowledge tegrating with 3rd party solutions like SpringCM, eSignLive, Vlocity etc.Experience with Mulesoft and APIs for systems integration with SalesforceExperience on Federal Salesforce projects preferredDMDLI--CC1IndeedWorking at ICFWorking at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day.
