Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer (SIEM) to join our team in Washington, DC. Responsibilities included, but are not limited to: * Provide Security Engineering support including maintenance tickets for a large Intrusion Detection Management System* Responsible for providing critical systems and application vulnerability support* Provide enterprise level disaster recovery solutions related to cybersecurity operations* Configuring and connecting Custom Log Sources for business applications* Perform requirements analysis, design, and integration of complex application add-on and functionalities associated with a SIEM* Support and maintain IBM QRadar SIEM (or equivalent) implementation(s)* Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: * At least one of the following certifications: CISSP, Security+ CE, or DoD 8570 IAT Level II* A Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field* A minimum of (3) three-years of IT experience* A minimum of (1) one-year of hands-on experience with IBM QRadar or equivalent SIEM architecture -or- deployment for a large-scale enterprise environment* Expert in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system data onboarding and normalization, IBM QRadar or equivalent* Experience with infrastructure management and support and system administration in Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments* Understanding for security event analysis and intrusion detection (IDS/IPS Incident response, triage, incident analysis and remediation) Advanced Automation, Scripting and API Engineering Background* Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows security, endpoint security, IDS/IPS, or security tools* Knowledge of networking protocols Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Cloud Solution build* Experience maintaining IBM QRadar or equivalent as an enterprise SIEM solution* An IAT Level III certification* Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Certified Systems Engineer -or- RHEL Certified Systems Administrator -or- Linux+ certifications Clearance Requirements: * U.S. Citizenship* An active Top-Secret clearance Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.* Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.* Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.* Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
