1022201790 Kirby Parkway, Memphis, Tennessee 38138Job DescriptionPosition OverviewMonitors and tests internal technology controls to ensure compliance and mitigate financial and operations risk. Executes internal information technology audit procedures by developing audit criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, identifying and defining issues, and documenting business processes and procedures. Operates under general supervision. Provides coaching and support to peers. ResponsibilitiesPerforms risk assessments of internal information systems, locations and components supporting financial and operational data collection, storage, transactions, and metrics. Plans and executes information technology audits. Gathers information, consults with key stakeholders, vendors, and subject matter experts (at corporate and in the field). Leads and facilitates preliminary discussions of audit deficiencies with management to verify and obtain explanations and reasons for deficiencies and documents responses. Monitors internal controls and security protocols. Provides regular reports and results through data analytics. Plans and performs testing of information systems, security protocols and configurations. Audits application controls, data storage and recovery as well as user provisioning and permissions. Provides peer review of working papers for audit team members. Supports and participates in the preparation and delivery of reports and presentations communicating the results of audit and consulting projects to management and the audit committee of the board of directors. Interacts with various levels of the company through individual and group contacts to develop and maintain productive internal relationships. Travels overnight up to 20% of the time to conduct site audits, investigations and training. Develops and maintains knowledge and competencies with current and emerging trends, regulations, and best practices. Provides peer-to-peer guidance and coaching to peers within the team and assists with problem petenciesCustomer Focus/Sales GrowthResults Orientation/Sense of UrgencyChange MasteryIntegrity/ValuesProblem Solving and Decision MakingEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or Computer ScienceMasters degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA or CISA) preferred5 years of experience in internal audit, accounting, business analysis required, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience using audit command language (ACL) or similar data analysis tools preferred Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of applied internal audit, accounting and management principles and best practicesKnowledge of the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics developed by the Institute of Internal AuditorsKnowledge of IT infrastructures (e.g. servers, storage, O/S) Network, Information Security, Application Development and Application/Database ArchitectureKnowledge of IT application and general computer controlsKnowledge of compliance regulations and standards (e.g., SOX, PCl, HIPAA)Knowledge of general business and financial acumenKnowledge of ERP system concepts and the Systems Develop LifecycleWritten and verbal communication skills, including presentations to management and executive audiencesQuantitative and qualitative analytical skills to evaluate complex data and systemsAttention to detail, accuracy and quality in data, logic, and business processesAbility to respect and maintain confidentialityOrganizational skills and adaptability to manage tasks concurrent projectsAbility to operate independently under general supervision and collaboratively within a teamComputer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Physical Demands & Working ConditionsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
