QA Lead

Position: QA LeadLocation: Boston, MAPermanent Role Role:This position requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to work on multiple projectsindependently and as part of a project team. This is more than just a testing position; we are looking for a strong full stack Quality Engineering background mixed with Software Development skills to deliver test automation and evangelize quality practices. This person will be an integral part of the development team, leading quality test planning, defining and writing automated tests, while using agile testing methodologies. Software Quality Engineers in the Data and Analytics Solutions group can expect to code eighty percent of their time.Description:• Strong coding experience in Java, JavaScript, or Python or another object-oriented programminglanguage• Experience testing Web Services to cover functional status responses and business logic• Experience writing test automation for UI through standard tools, Selenium, Cucumber,Protractor• Experience developing automated tests within a test automation framework• Familiarity with SQL and working knowledge of relational database technologies• Strong test case development, test planning and execution experience• Familiar working in a mature CI/CD environment with a test early pattern.• Experience with RESTful Web technologies: Oauth2, XML, JSON, serialization, marshaling• Hands-on experience working in agile software delivery teams• Capable of absorbing new technologies quickly, while designing succinct quality strategies• Big Pluses: Experience with public cloud testing, big data platforms, performance or securitytestingQualifications:• Bachelor''s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experiencerequired; advanced degree preferred.• 10+ years of experience in a systems quality environment required; - provided by Dice
