Description: Job Title: Assembly - 2nd Shift Job Location: Londondderry, NHJob Code: CS20223006-85718 This position is eligible for a $2000 sign on bonus This position is eligible for 10% Shift Differential Position Purpose: Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Works from work instructions, and uses hand and/or power tools. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Applies English language skills to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions Assembles mechanical, optical or electrical components and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements Completes basic testing operations by loading units, starting test programs, and evaluting basic pass/fail criteria May require fine assembly work and completing assembly operations with aid of a microscope or other hand tools Continuously performs visual inspections of materials for defects and conducts any range of functional tests and cleaning at prescribed intervals to ensure proper operation of various components during assembly Reports deviations from standard to appropriate resource for review, instruction and authorization and conducts quality inspection at specified intervals. Performs accurate data and record keeping Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures Applies basic math skills to add and subtract two digit numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance Ability to work with RTV, epoxy, and other bonds/adhesives Cultivates a culture that assures effective cross functional team work Performs job duties in a manner that complies with environmental, health and safety regulations, policies and procedures Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values Consistently at work and on-time NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Participates in a variety of meetings, committees and task force groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve issues and maintains specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements and policies All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience Experience Desired: Demonstrated proficiency at operating 25%-50% of work stations as documented by training record Entry-level soldering with certification, if applicable L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
