The Ground Lead Paramedicdelivers care to critically ill or injured patients. Patients may be transported between medicalfacilities or directly from the scene of an accident or illness. The Ground Lead Paramedic assists withmarketing and public relations activities of the program. The Ground Lead Paramedic also may be calledupon to assist in the Emergency Department and other hospital units accordingto RWMC policy. The Ground Lead Paramedicis responsible for daily operations and staffing of their assigned base and performsother duties as assigned.JOB SPECIFICATIONSEDUCATION:Graduateof an educational program for Emergency MedicalTechnician-Paramedic,or equivalent. LICENSURE:CurrentState of Nebraskaand Nationally Registered EMT-Paramedic certificate/license.Certifications/Credentials:BLS, ACLS, PALS provider,instructor preferred. NRP providerpreferred.EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience at a paramedic level with and Advanced Life Support Service preferred.CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS:Ability to communicate effectively usingverbal and written communication skills in multiple relationships with varietyof cultural and social backgrounds.Ability to recognize, anticipate, and respond to the needs of allcustomers such as but not limited to: patients, family members, general public, physicians, staff members, lawenforcement, fire, and (EMS) in a caring,respectful and courteous manner.RequiredPreferredJob IndustriesCustomer Service
