Definition: The Director of Training is responsible for providing real-time, high-end luxury resort service training to service-providing associates and managers across the Resort.General Duties: -Train newly hired service-providing associates and managers in basics of service. -Conduct on-the-job service training for individuals and teams. -Conduct service audits and provide feedback to associates and managers. -Design short service training modules that can be used by line managers with their line associates. -Design and conduct service training activities for use at rallies, for department teambuilding, etc. -Coordinate with the Training Coordinator in Human Resources to manage training records. -When appropriate, schedule the appropriate meeting room and ensure the physical setup, including any audiovisual equipment and F&B requests are complete. -Prepare and distribute training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms and visual aids. -Completes ACE forms for proper billing of class set up, tear down and any F&B. Employment standards: -Forbes certification in 5-Star customer service. -Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience. -Bilingual in Spanish a plus. -Excellent platform and presentation skills. -Business acumen. -Requires a working knowledge of Word, Excel and other business management software programs and systems. Expertise with PowerPoint a plus. -Requires a high degree of perceptiveness and ability to relate to individuals at all levels. -Requires excellent oral and written communications skills. -Must have neat and pleasant overall appearance. -Comprehend reading materials, speak, read and write English. Physical & Mental Requirements: -Moderate lifting and carrying, 15-25 pounds -Able to bend, stoop, reach and stretch repetitively -Must have normal vision with corrective lens -Sit for extended periods of time -Can stand for extended periods of time -Walk as a daily routine -Communicate effectively with general public
