Take your next step with Saulsbury Industries!QA/QC Lead Location: McFarland, AZ Type: Full timePosition SummaryThe Quality Lead will manage and maintain quality Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation inspections for the given project site. Manage all quality documentation and the satisfactory completion of inspections and test activities. Provide supervision to quality inspectors and manage problems. This is a QA position over seeing subcontractors Solar installation.ResponsibilitiesMust be able to implement a quality program from start to finish of project and promote the safety culture.Provide weekly QA/QC program updates to client''s management teamLead, Manage and mentor the projects Quality team membersHold project teams accountable for quality control program requirementsReview subcontractors'' documentationProvide code compliance knowledge and enforcement for both Owner and SubcontractorManage and Update QA/QC program requirementsAssist and provide leadership in the development of robust QA/QC processes and standards to enable client''s successful project completionProvide training of personnel as needed to ensure awareness of quality procedures and specific responsibilities in the QA/QC terface and response to audits such as those conducted by the client or third parties (stakeholders supporting the project)Develop, implement, and manage the subcontractor Quality audit scheduleMonitor Subcontractor''s QA/QC program to ensure it meets Owner''s contract requirements and all local/federal codesEnsure that all personnel working on the project understands the code and specification requirementsPerform onsite field observation of installed work (e.g., concrete, structural steel, electrical, etc.)Recommend and implement NCR''s, Corrective Action and Quality Incident Reports based on policies, guidelines, and proceduresRecord observations from job site inspections and complete inspection reportsOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsExperience in the management of quality control & quality assurance (QA/QC) programs for semiconductor or large industrial ($10MM-$100M+) construction projectsExperience in personnel management, staffing and schedulingExperience in subcontractor, manufacturer, and vendor managementExperience interpreting codes and specificationsExperience working with State or governing agencies to reach mutually agreeable solutions to technical issues or field issuesQualifications and Requirements:Construction management (CM) certification or equal educational experience preferredStrong experience in documentation review, turnoverExtensive knowledge of Codes ACI, AWS D1.1, ASME Sec IX, NEC but not all inclusive.Ability to read, interpret and understand specification, drawings/ISOs and electricalAble to pass a background/drug screenExperience using MS Excel, Word, Bluebeam, or related programs.Some travel will be likelySolar experience requiredEducation and Experience RequirementsMinimum of 15 years Industrial Construction work experience in lieu of a degreeExperience preferred in Welding, Civil, Structural, and I&ESkills and KnowledgeThorough knowledge of general construction methods and construction codesKnowledge of OSHA standardsAbility to accurately read and interpret design documents (drawings and specifications)Knowledge in NCR''s, QIR, CAR, and Observations reports,
