Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Personnel Security Assistant II. Job Description: Summary: To provide administrative support for Personnel Security Services to GRS government clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Update PII in Agency system on each individual currently going through a BI. Review all investigative forms and initial PIV documents for completeness and accuracy (e-QIP questionnaires, credit reports, criminal records etc.) to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and areas potentially requiring clarification or additional investigation.Reject investigative forms to the sender which do not meet suitability criteria. Assist Personnel Security Specialists in generating official correspondence (status queries and unacceptable case notices) from OPM thereby reducing processing time. Sponsor potential candidates into GSA''s USAccess system to initiate the PIV process. •... Update the filing system, create labels, and place them in the appropriate drawer. Transfer PII to OPMs e-QIP database to initiate BIs for applicants. Prepare memoranda and emails to staff and to applicants on a variety of issues. Upload BI documents and create file in preparation for upload into e-QIP. Perform data collection and tracking support such as receiving and processing suitability or security case information and reports. Perform database file searches. Develop, prepare, track information, reports and other data. Perform basic analysis of data and generate various reports; etc. Receive and respond to incoming calls on the PSD customer service line from employees, applicants, and contractors regarding PSD inquiries. Utilize CVS to review and record BIs, security clearances, and fingerprint records. Review Collateral Clearance and FBI Fingerprint results. Determine whether or not the applicant has a current investigation.Determine if BI has been favorably adjudicated; subsequently request records from OPM. Notify PSD Lead of those applicants whose answers present security concerns and follow up with applicant to obtain additional explanatory information and documentation. Prepare summaries of derogatory and mitigating information contained in investigative reports to complete the adjudication process Clearance Required: TS/SCI Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree or additional 2 years of experienceThree (3) years of relevant experienceExperience with Microsoft Word, E-mail, Voicemail, the Internet, Access, Excel, answering telephones, using copy machines, using fax machines, and customer service. Training on specific systems used by SEPS will be provided.Ability to:Interpret and follow specific written and oral instructionsCommunicate orally and in writing Meet deadlinesFamiliarity with OPM BI''s is preferred. Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk. Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
