In this role, you will work with the FDIC account team and Guidehouse''s Digital and Advanced Solutions teams to provide strategic planning and solutioning for outsourced managed and hosting services needed to capture, process, host, search, retrieve, produce, analyze, review and archive Electronically Stored Information (ESI) collected from financial institutions, third party providers and corporate data. You will help clients in identifying areas for IT modernization and working with the clients on envisioning and designing target state architecture with the understanding of the current state, supporting them in making transition from a current state to the target state, and develop migration plans and business cases for the modernization. The solution architects support the opportunity pursuit with client meetings, architecting solutions for proposal technical approach, and articulating value propositions of the solutions. This high performing team assists in our many and exciting technology transformation efforts. You will enable our clients to explore disruptive technology trends through ideation, evaluation of opportunities and risks, and creating business transformation maps that highlighting business outcomes. Job Description/Responsibilities: Conducts in depth system architecture evaluations and collaborates with project management and IT development teams to improve the architecture Creates and leads the process of integrating IT systems for clients to meet an organizations requirements Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations Coach junior members: recognize their strengths and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development Manage a cross-functional team in performing research and data collection across business, data, application, and technology domains using industry leading best practices and frameworks Lead or support proposal development efforts in building the technical approach and solutions by coordinating with subject matter resources and vendors of platforms; participating in client meetings, architecting solutions, and articulating value propositions of the solutions. Help clients improve business value through optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of their IT capabilities. Analyze complex challenges, ideas, or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm''s/client''s expectations Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points Uphold the firm''s code of ethics and business conduct Ability to provide a research and support team to respond to client inquiries QualificationsRequired: Experience with FDIC programs Experience in analyzing Electronically Stored Information (ESI) collected from financial institutions Financial Institution or banking knowledge (Preferably FDIC) Experience with multi-threaded, distributive, and high-performing architectures and frameworks 3+ years of hands-on experience architecting and integration solutions in a solution architect or solution engineer role, with various infrastructure and platform technologies; experience in application, service, and data integrations Hands-on experience effectively architecting integrated technical solutions, incorporating requirements for business needs, performance, scalability and security areas for the enterprise systems, within a diverse technical team of internal IT resources, SI partners, and contractors Understanding of the needs in leading IT modernization programs and managing senior clients through the journey Experience with leadership, consensus building, and mentoring of technology resources Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor''s degree, Masters preferred Preferred: Knowledge on failed back data services Experience with technical deployments like: Cloud implementations with data structures and processes, reporting/visualizations Knowledge of FedRAMP, ATO, and other Federal governance and security standards and requirements Experience with digital platforms, cloud computing services or a private cloud solution Additional Requirements The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described This position is available virtually from PST, CST or EST time zones. o Strong preference will be given to candidates local to Washington, DC. o Travel up to 25% to Washington, DC, will be required for virtual candidates.
