All current and newly hired employees are required to follow onsite safety measures based upon the COVID-19 Community Level at the specific work location.Description:The Engineering Planner Senior will support Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Global Sustainment Moorestown Technical Publications in planning, development, statusing, and delivery of Technical Manuals (TMs) for U.S. Department of Defense programs Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Acquisition (New Construction/Pre-Delivery), LCS Sustainment (Post-Delivery (IPDA/PSA)), and Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) Foreign Military Sales (FMS). The Engineering Planner Senior will perform technical tasks and programmatic interactions with customers as directed by functional management and supervisory project staff. This person will be responsible for determining TM contractual requirements and developing and/or refining team processes to ensure successful completion of all contractual requirements. This person will review TM submissions by subcontractors to ensure they are accurate, complete, and meet Data Rights and Security Classification Guidelines. This person will perform Engineering Reviews (ERs) to ensure that TMs have been updated accurately and thoroughly with all source data and changes prior to delivery. This person will review provisioning data to identify what TMs are required per contractual requirements. This person will review Engineering Change Documentation to identify changes required to TMs and support TM proposal efforts, to include supporting Proposals (Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs) and Basis of Estimates (BOEs)), to make these changes, and support manager reviews.Basic Qualifications:- Knowledge of LCS and/or MMSC Shipboard Systems/Subsystems/Equipment- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office suite (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access) and Adobe PDF- Excellent attention to detail - Experience accurately utilizing/inputting data into a MS Access database - Knowledge of and/or experience with processes for development and delivery of TMs or Publications- Ability to independently evaluate complex technical data and interpret changes required to TM content including; drawings and schematics, illustrations, System/Subsystem/Equipment functional descriptions- Ability to read and interpret basic level provisioning data- Experience reviewing Technical Documentation and applying appropriate Security Classification Guidelines- Experience reviewing Contract Statements of Work (SOW) and Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) and determining TM requirements- Experience providing inputs for Subcontractor Statements of Work (SOW) and Subcontractor Deliverable Requirements Lists (SDRL)- Experience and knowledge of engineering source documentation- Ability to perform technical engineering reviews of TMs to ensure that all changes and source data identified have been incorporated accurately and thoroughly in TMs before delivery- Experience supporting development of ROMs and BOEs as required for changes and/or new TM efforts- Able to clearly and concisely communicate in writing and in presentations- Able to demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving skills- Must be able to work in a diverse, fast-paced team corporate environment- Able to organize effectively, be able to provide accurate and detailed status on tasks- Ability to work independently, self-starter, ensuring tasks are completed on time without daily monitoring - Ability to continually identify and recommend process improvements- Ability to fully comprehend complex procedures and then effectively train teammates - Ability to ask questions and fully cooperate and contribute within a team dynamic- Desire to continuously learn within and beyond the basic responsibilities of the job- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance- Must be able to perform multiple tasks/diverse set of responsibilities simultaneously, with short deadlines, and prioritize based on direction or deadline provided- Experience coordinating meetings, recording minutes and action itemsDesired Skills:- Knowledge of MIL-DTL-24784; DOD General Acquisition and Development Requirements for Technical Manuals- Advanced level of proficiency with MS Office suite (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access) and Adobe PDF- Experience working in and maintaining folders on a network ShareDrive, utilized within an entire department- Experience with navigating Sharepoint sites- Experience performing QA (Quality Assurance)/Editorial reviews - Experience creating and maintaining Work Instructions and/or Standard Operating Procedures - Experience with US Navy and/or other military personnel- Knowledge and/or experience with design and development of MS Access databases - Experience with coordination and processing high volume of deliverables- Knowledge or Experience with EPDMBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
