Senior Cost Analyst with Security Clearance

Location: Huntsville, AL Education Required: Bachelor''s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences. Skills Required: We are seeking highly motivated individual with excellent quantitative and analytical skills for a Cost Analyst - Senior Level (Cost Estimator/Senior Business Ops) position. * At least 10 years of experience cost estimating and analysis * Experience gathering and analyzing technical, programmatic, schedule, labor and cost data to support the development of various types of cost estimates * Experience with cost estimating learning curves, inflation, regression, Operations and Support estimating, statistics, cost estimating principles/ DoD acquisition policies * Have a working knowledge of the DoD acquisition and project management process * Program Office experience * Working knowledge of ACEIT is highly desirable * Excellent verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills are required * Proficient in the use of M/S office applications Word, PowerPoint, and Excel * Must be able to work in a team environment * Successful candidates must possess and/or have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance * U.S. citizenship required Responsibilities: Working as part of an integrated cost analyst team, the Senior Cost Analyst will perform a wide variety of cost and economic analyses/estimating/engineering support directly interfacing with program offices and assisting the development and presentation of management level briefings as needed. The Senior Cost Analyst will so provide cost analysis and estimating support to the Business Management Division for ACAT Programs. Work may include Independent Government Cost Estimates, parametric cost estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationships and model development, cost risk analysis, performance measurement (earned value), project forecasting and risk assessment, cost-benefit analysis, and software cost estimating. Additional support includes, but is not limited to, the areas of strategy development, scheduling, market research, evaluation criteria development, pre-solicitation documentation review, RFP documentation, Independent Program Review documentation, cost estimates and key decision point''s preparation, and trade studies.
